The Championship
The Rib Rally offers two championships for 2010; the European Tour and the World Final. Of course, winning both will make your team the Ultimate Rib Rally Champion 2010. But, let’s just first see how the ranking system will work.
General ranking per stage
For both Championships, the following simple ranking per stage will apply:The first one in ranking receives 100% of that stages points. Number 2 receives 90%, number 3 receives 81% and each place beneath 10% less, continuing to 73%, 66%, etc. etc. This system is applied to each stage, which may have different values in points.
European Tour Ranking System
Next to the above explanation, each Stage in each Event will be ranked as follows:
| Event | Stage 1 | Stage 2 | Stage 3 | Stage 4 | Special 1 | Special 2 |
| Coastal Challenge | 100 | 100 | X | X | X | X |
| Costa Challenge | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 | X | X |
| UK Classic | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 | 50 | 50 |
| Baltic Adventure | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 | 50 | 50 |
| Scheveningen Triangle | 100 | 100 | 100 | 100 | X | X |
In theory, a total of 2000 points are to be gathered. However, there are a few aspects to this adding-up:
- From the Stages of the first 4 Events, only the best 10 results will count!
- Results of the Special will always count.
- Results of the 4 rallies of the Scheveningen Triangle will always count.
Taking those three aspects in account, a total of 1600 points can be gathered.
Changes in the Ranking System
The Organization of the OffShore Rib Rally always will have the possibility of changing the rankingsystem of stages. The final version for an events ranking system will be published shortly before that event. Also during an event, unforeseen circumstances may result in skipping stages and/or ranking possibilities for those stages. No rights can be claimed in any sence.
