The Grand Hotel Marstrand was built at the turn of the 19th century and has kept its original charm and architeture ever since. The hotel is situated on one of the many small islands in front of the Swedish coast. It has a prime location on the island and overlooks the Marstrand harbour. Just like the rallies of the Baltic Adventure, the hotel is situated at a truly scenic location.

With only 23 rooms it is a small but very cosy hotel. All rooms are individually decorated with classical furniture and beautiful fabrics. The rooms are very spacious and almost every room offers a breathtaking view of the ocean. The ideal way to relax and dream away about the rallies to come!

Also located on Marstrand is one of the best preserved stone fortressess in Northern Europe; The Carlsten Fortress. A trip to the fortress can really help you to get your mind of rallying for a while.

The adventure of the Grand Hotel strarts even before guests reach the island. The entire island of Marstrand is ar free and driving a ar is strictly prohibited. Thanks to this, Marstrand is a quiet island and a perfect location to relax. Since the island is car free, guests have to go to the island by boat. Since the Rib Rally will have theur own boats with them, the RIBs can be used to get to the island! One could call it the pre-Baltic Adventure stage!
