Barcarola - ES

During the 2009 Costa Challenge, San Feliu de Guixols based Hotel Barcarola was the host for the Rib Rally. The hotel was a great plae to relax and enjoy all the benefits of the Spanish coast after a long day of rallying. Situated at only 30 meters from the beah, Hotel Barcarola puts their guests as close to the Mediterranean as possible!

In 2010 the Rib Rally returns to Barcarola. However, the hotel has changed dramatically since last year. No less then 40 rooms have been added and the hotel has been fully redecorated. Most of the rooms offer balconies form which the views are spectacular.

Hotel Barcarola is situated in one of the most beautiful and naturally rich areas in Spain. The surroundings are characterized by idyllic small villages, rock formations, forests, valleys and hills. The Barcarola hotel lets its guests experience Spanish culture on the highest level. The Costa Brava is famous for its gastronomy and traditional Spanish kitchen. The seret is the excellent combination of quality products from both sea and mountains.

In the evenings, the Toucan Beach Bar welcomes guests to have a drink and enjoy music. Under the Spanish sundown a long, tough day of rallying an be perfectly concluded on the beach.
